The Alaska Wildland Fire Coordinating Group (AWFCG) will convene the 2024 Spring Operations meeting in person and online the week of March 18-22. The agenda is now available. The meeting will be at the Pipeline Training Center in Fairbanks with a virtual option. Link is in the agenda and is the same all week.

The meeting follows this general schedule:
- Mon through Wed morning: sessions for the Alaska Incident Management Teams (IMT),
- Wed afternoon through Fri: sessions for Agency Administrators and Fire Management Officers (AA/FMO)
The AA/FMO sessions, starting Wed afternoon, are open, and registration is not required. Fire science presentations organized by AFSC will be coordinated with related management content Wed-Fri. Relevant presentations will be recorded and archived. Please join us for a potluck lunch on Thurs to network with your colleagues, raise funds for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, and preview the updated Alaska orientation videos.
