Alaska Interagency Spring Operations Meeting

Description

The Alaska Wildland Fire Coordinating Group (AWFCG) will convene the 2023 Spring Operations meeting in person and online the week of March 20-24. The agenda is now available. The meeting will be at the Pipeline Training Center in Fairbanks with a virtual option. Connection information is in the agenda.

  • Mon through Wed morning: sessions for the Alaska Incident Management Teams (IMT),
  • Wed afternoon through Fri: sessions for Agency Administrators and Fire Management Officers (AA/FMO)

The AA/FMO sessions, starting Wed afternoon, are open, and registration is not required. Fire science presentations organized by AFSC will be coordinated with related management content Thurs afternoon. Join AFSC for a social event Thurs evening, location TBD, and for lunch onsite on Fri ($10).
