From the text...'The help desk staff works closely with all agencies involved in wildland fire and aviation management to provide technical updates, new and updated applications, and notifications affecting fire application users. The help desk currently supports more than 40 applications or systems. Customers call with a wide range of requests, such as for:
- User guides
- F&AM software and training packages for various applications
- Guidance on weather station catalogs and indices
- Observations and forecasts regarding the Weather Information Management System
- Help in solving data problems with the Interagency Cache Business System or Aviation Management Information System'
