The Colorado State Forest Service, in partnership with FACO and Envision Chaffee County,  are sponsoring a two-day Assessing Structure Ignition Potential from Wildfire (ASIP) course at the Colorado Fire Camp in Salida. The course provides students with science-based best practices to mitigate structural ignition potential. Students will learn to identify structural ignition vulnerabilities, options for mitigation, and how to work with homeowners during the assessment process. This class will be hosted Oct 16-17 at Colorado Fire Camp, 9008 Co Rd 240, Salida, CO 81201. Training will be from 0830-1700 both days.

The cost of this course will be $65 for no accommodation and two lunches (locals). The cost of the course will be $138 for 2 nights and 5 meals at Colorado Fire Camp (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner). You will have the option of staying either Oct 15 & 16 or Oct 16 and 17. If you require an additional night due to travel (3 nights, 5 meals), this course will be $168.
