Prescribed fire through partnership - building relationships across boundaries

The Idaho Prescribed Fire Council will be hosting their 4th Annual Meeting on March 8th and 9th, 2023 in Boise, ID.

Meeting sessions:

• Session 1 (March 8, 1800-2000): Case study showcasing the establishment of partnerships between rural fire departments and federal agencies to work together on prescribed fires.
• Session 2 (March 9, 0800-1200): Review of Idaho and other local council activities, report on prescribed fire research and prescribed fire in action. Establishment of goals for 2023.
• Session 3 (March 9, 1200-1600): Field experience or workshop related to increasing workforce capacity by building partnerships.
