Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and communicate the relationships between basic fire regimes and fire effects, the effects of fire treatments on fire effects, and to manipulate fire treatments to achieve desired fire effects (NWCG 2017).

Class length:  35 hours
 
Date: Dec. 6th to 17th 2021
The content is self-paced so you can complete the material anytime in this two-week period. If those dates do not work for you, you can still sign up and be added to the list for the next offering. There is some flexibility on completing the course after the 16th if you make arrangements with the course coordinator.
 
Who can take the course: The course is open to anyone. This online class is also being offered in the early spring through many geographic areas so first talk to your training specialist to see if there is a geographic area offering that you can participate in.
