The Alaska Fire Modeling and Analysis Committee's Spring Refresher webinar will be presented by Chris Moore and Robert (Zeke) Ziel.

Chris will present a case study of the analysis work on the 2020 Isom Creek fire, and Zeke will present on Landscape Hazard, Threat, and Exposure Estimation. On a basic level, we know where and why many of our fires burn the way that they do on our boreal landscape.  Zeke will share a simple way to leverage that knowledge into maps of hazard and threat to help identify what values may be most exposed.
