Background

This workshop was held at the BLM - Alaska Fire Service Office on March 5-7, 2012. The workshop was a great opportunity to discuss fire modeling and applications in Alaska and get hands on experience using modeling tools. The intent of this event was to start an open dialog amongst users, share and learn from each other's experiences, and work through modeling questions as a group. Fire modeling experts were also present to share their wealth of knowledge and experience.
