Are you:

  • Interested in wildfire behavior, ecology, or post-fire effects?
  • A recipient of a Joint Fire Science Program research grant?
  • A 'Student of Fire'?

Do you:

  • Conduct outreach, teach students or the public about wildfire?
  • Make land management decisions about wildfire?
  • Study or live in the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI)?

Come learn how the Southern Rockies Fire Science Network can support your wildfire-knowledge needs!

SRFSN is one of 15 national fire science exchanges sponsored by the Joint Fire Science Program and is based in the Colorado State University Warner College Department of Forest and Rangeland Stewardship.

SRFSN is a federally-funded service that helps researchers, managers, and communities share science-based knowledge from Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and the Black Hills region.

Learn how SRFSN supports this exchange through online and person-to-person methods. A review of the Joint Fire Science Program and how SRFSN plays a role in the annual research grant program will also be presented.

*This webinar is designed specifically for State Forest Service personnel and Extension agents throughout the SRFSN region
