This webinar will cover key findings from research conducted in forests burned in 2008 that were heavily infested with Phytophthora ramorum, causal agent of sudden oak death, at the time of the wildfires. Participants will learn which characteristics of these coastal California forests contributed to the survival and persistence of the pathogen during and following the wildfires. This webinar is presented by Maia Beh, Univ. of California Cooperative Extension, and hosted by the California Fire Science Consortium.
