Title: Demographic Glimpses of the Boreal Forest

Ecological interactions among species and the environment take on a plethora of fascinating outcomes, the most fundamental of which pertain to consequences for growth and survival. Here we attempt to illustrate how abiotic and biotic variables affect the distribution and abundance of plants and animals in the boreal forest using eclectic snapshots from the lives of the most endearing species 'known to man' (in Interior Alaska).
