The SWFSC offers a webinar reviewing wildfires of 2022 and looking ahead toward fire conditions for the 2023 season. Dr. Zander Evans presents an overview of the 10 largest fires in the Southwest during 2022. He will share summaries of forest types and burn severities for each of the 10 fires. Chuck Maxwell with the USDA’s Southwest Coordination Center Predictive Services, will discuss the fire season outlook for the region in 2023.
