Climate warming from north to south along the Yenisei meridian causes an increase in the frequency and severity of forest fires and a simultaneous decrease in the mean intervals between fires. The pyrological regimes characteristic of each subzone emissions, and the regeneration structure and productivity of the post-fire communities. Post-fire succession from conifers to broadleaves accounts for 20% of the forest area in the southern taiga zone, 12% in the middles taiga zone, 13% in the northern taiga zone, and only 5% in the northern open (sparse) woodland zone. The possible effects of global warming on the process are discussed.
