From the text: 'As the use of prescribed fire grows, the demand for more efficient and effective methods of ignition will grow with it. Once the opportunities for fire use are recognized, program managers will have to seek more effective ways to keep up with the increasing workload. As we have heard at the workshop, aerial ignition provides opportunities for doing more work with fewer people at reduced costs.'
