'This paper reports on laboratory tests that show variable lethal effects of sustained high temperatures on the mycelium of the four main decayers of lodgepole pine slash. For puposes of the eaperiment, S.sanguinolentum and C. puteana were regarded as low temperature fungi, and P. phlebioides and L. saepiaria as high temperature fungi.'
