The Forest Service and Ad Council have also launched new public service announcements (PSAs) this week as part of the Fire Adapted Communities initiative. The press release includes links to the audio, video and print PSAs, which share the message, "A single ember from a wildfire can travel over a mile - you can't control where an ember will land, but you can control what happens when it does." They also give some simple tips for reducing risk, and direct audiences to www.fireadapted.org.
