The primary audience for WETC educational materials is in support of lower and upper division, and graduate level university courses in many areas of wildland fire science, ecology, and management. While some of the materials may also be suitable for high school or earlier curricula, this remains an area for potential future expansion and is not currently the focus of this program.

Training programs in federal, state and local fire programs are a core audience for these materials. We include training staff in the development, design, and review process.

All of the video materials are available to the public via a dedicated YouTube channel. Currently there is no direct development of public education materials, but this remains an option for the future.
