A fire danger/fire behavior Custom Read Only Memory (CROM) has been developed for the Texas Instruments model 59 hand held calculator. It can be used to compute both 1978 National Fire Danger Rating indexes and components and several variables used to estimate wildfire behavior. Calculations can be performed in three operational modes.
