Proposal Support: Working with the AFSC

The Alaska Fire Science Consortium (AFSC) has a mission to build collaboration between scientists and fire management community in Alaska.

To help the Alaska fire science community prepare excellent proposals for 2018 JFSP funding, AFSC is organizing opportunities for investigators to explore their project ideas with AFSC staff and interested fire managers. Please contact AFSC coordinator Alison York, 907-474-6964, ayork@alaska.edu if you are interested in these discussion opportunities.

AFSC Letters of Support:

If you intend to request a letter of support from AFSC, please contact us as soon as possible.  In order to give your proposal adequate consideration, we must receive your request, including a draft of your proposal, at least 2 weeks prior to your submission deadline.
