Job: Stewardship Monitoring and Outreach Coordinator - Mt. Adams Resource Stewards - Glenwood, WA

Mt. Adams Resource Stewards (MARS) is seeking a talented, dynamic and driven individual that shares MARS passion for forests, land stewardship and rural communities to fill the role of Stewardship Monitoring Coordinator. The essence of this position is to support MARS in building both internal understanding and community awareness of the impacts of MARS work. The position is responsible for leading efforts to measure and monitor the impacts of forest restoration (to include variable density thinning, fuels management and prescribed burning), land stewardship, and management associated with community-based forestry activities. Of particular importance is the ability to design and develop ecological (and ideally socio-economic) monitoring protocols, gather data, and distill learnings in meaningful ways for stakeholders, partners and the general public. The position will support a vital function in improving how MARS utilizes information that reflects the impact of its work to adaptively manage projects and the surrounding landscape while more effectively communicating to stakeholders the value of what MARS is doing.

This position will be open until filled.
