Webinars, Seminars and Presentations

Sponsor: Idaho State University's GIS TReC

This webinar provides an overview of the Rehabilitation Capability Convergence for Ecosystem Recovery (RECOVER) cloud-based post-fire geospatial decision support system. RECOVER enables visualization and analysis of geospatial data for fire events across the western continental United States, including the ability to create and deliver data packages for higher level geospatial analyses in a desktop GIS environment. In addition to demonstrating how to access and use the RECOVER application, the webinar provides users hands-on experience with the application and the opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations for future capabilities and enhancements. The webinar is intended for Burned Area Emergency Response (BAER) teams and other staff involved with post-fire emergency stabilization and hazard mitigation activities conducted in the immediate aftermath of an incident as well as field unit staff supporting longer term restoration and recovery monitoring efforts.
