Part of the Great Basin Fire Science Exchange's Fuel Breaks in Sagebrush: A Multidisciplinary Webinar Series and Discussion

Eva Strand, Associate Professor of Rangeland Ecology and Management with the University of Idaho will give an overview of fuel break ecological considerations; Tim Prather, Senior Associate Director of the University of Idaho Rangeland Center will discuss control of cheatgrass and other weeds in fuel breaks; and Michele Crist, Landscape Ecologist with the National Interagency Fire Center will discuss how to use the "Science Framework" for fuel break planning.
