Overview - This virtual event over three consecutive mornings will explore the broader ecological, cultural, and social importance and impacts of fire in boreal systems, through both the historical and current lenses. Discussions will address the unique challenges for implementing, suppressing, or researching fire in boreal systems, and hear various perspectives about communities living with fire.
What to expect - Hosts will strive to dynamically present content similar to previous Fire in Minnesota Ecosystems Workshops. There will be presentations with Q&A sessions, Panel Discussions, and a Fireside Chat with one of our speakers.
