Conferences and Symposia

The Bonanza Creek Long Term Ecological Research Program's annual symposium has been rescheduled and will be held via Zoom.

The first day of the symposium will focus on a speed talk activity. A goal is to hear from every co-I on the grant and from collaborators that have grant-related research. Participation from anyone who is interested in the Bonanza Creek LTER Program is welcomed. The objectives are to get everyone up-to-date on exciting research, education and outreach activities and hear each person’s voice. Elements of the talks will be used to work together to make connections among results, scrutinize our conceptual model, and discuss future pathways for the program.

On the second day of the symposium, time will be allocated to syntheses and discussion of speed talks, the new leadership team will be introduced, and a timeline for grant writing will be provided, and outcomes from strategic planning processes will be discussed. The progam again welcomes anyone who would like to learn more about our plans for the future of the program.

A draft agenda is available.
