Postponed due to COVID-19 concerns
Join The American River Conservancy for a workshop led by Alissa Fogg of Point Blue Conservation Science on blue oak ecology and restoration techniques in the Sierra Foothills. You will spend about half the time in the classroom learning about blue oaks and what can be done to help them adapt to drought and climate change. After a bag lunch outdoors, you will go into the field to learn how to plant and protect blue oak seedlings. Rain or shine. Responsible teens+ welcome.
