The theme is “Restoration at the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI).” There will also be sessions on other efforts and new products in the region. The Great Basin is home to some of the fastest growing urban areas in the country, and there are both pressing restoration needs and innovative approaches underway in the WUI.  Invited and contributed talks will be from 1) university researchers, 2) federal, state, and NGO managers and scientists, 3) industry, and 4) city municipalities
