University of Idaho fire science researchers will discuss their work at the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute's Science After Hours "Fire Perspectives" event from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Lodgepole North American Kitchen, 106 N. Main Street in Moscow.

Postdoctoral fellow Kara Yedinak will present "Sensing Fire: The Human Experience," graduate student Catrin Edgeley will present "Community Perceptions and Recovery from Large Fires," and graduate student Amanda Stasiewicz will present "Rangeland Fire Protection Associations: Ranching and Firefighting in Southern Idaho."
The event is free and open to all ages.
