Objectives: 1) present an update on the state of fire science in the Mojave Desert since the 2005/2006 fire seasons; 3) promote communication among the primary research groups conducting fire science in the region; and 3) scope out the ideas of a JFSP funding pleas and/or a fire session for the 2015 Desert Tortoise Council Symposium.
