Webinar Discussion - Research Needs Fire and Fuels Management in the Northern Rockies

Description

Please join us for a webinar discussion to gather feedback for the Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP) on priority research needs identified in our recent survey. Based on the first 80 surveys completed, the following topics generated the most interest for the Northern Rockies:
  • fire effects (including threatened, endangered, and invasive species)
  • climate-fire dynamics
  • fire-history / fire regime
  • geospatial fire analysis
  • landscape fuel assessment
For the top three topics identified in the survey, participants will discuss relevant scope, geography, temporal / spatial scale, desired products, intended audience, and why the topic is important for the JFSP to fund.
