Interested in visiting heterogeneous fuel treatments? The CFSC will be co-hosting a field trip to visit treatments at the Sagehen Creek Field Station near Truckee, CA.

Tour the heterogeneous thinning treatments implemented at the field station; discuss treatment implementation, future treatments, and goals; and discuss collaborations between managers, researchers, and conservation groups. Managers and scientists involved in the treatment planning will be present to discuss related operational and planning considerations.

Space is limited, so interested participants must register before October 24th by emailing tkline@berkeley.edu with their full name, affiliation (if any), and contact phone number. Logistics on meeting location and time will be shared with registered participants prior to the trip. If a significant storm occurs, this trip may be canceled and rescheduled for early summer 2013.
