Since 1994, the Biodiversity and Management of the Madrean Archipelago conference has served as a catalyst for interdisciplinary, cross-border conservation work. You are invited to participate in the third Madrean conference on May 1-5 in Tucson, Arizona. This conference will bring together the latest research from scientists and managers in the Sky Islands area of Mexico and the United States. The Madrean Conference covers a number of topics important to the Sky Island region, including: biological diversity; rivers, streams, and wetlands; corridors and barriers; climate change; invasive species; restoration and conservation; trans-border cooperation; and fire ecology. Registration will open January 2012.
