ANNOTATION: This report estimates the value of ancillary services provided by the U.S. biomass industry in order to inform policy makers on the viability of the biomass industry. Specifically, criteria air pollutants, greenhouse gas emissions, landfill capacity use, forest and watershed improvement, rural employment and economic development and energy diversity and security of the biomass industry are discussed in detail.
