FireFamily Plus is a software system for summarizing and analyzing historical daily fire weather observations and computing fire danger indices based on the National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS) or the Canadian Fire Danger Rating System (CAN). Fire occurrence data can also be analyzed and cross referenced with the weather data to help determine the critical levels for staffing and fire danger for an area. Version 3.0.5 is a special FireFamily Plus release at the request of Fire and Aviation Management to respond to the National Wildfire Coordinating Committees' (NWCG) adoption of content standards for Fire Danger Pocket Cards for Firefighter Safety which are required by the 30-Mile Accident Abatement Plan.
