Students discuss feelings and thoughts about fire and set-up ground rules for how to talk about fire and work with it.

Lesson Goal: Introduce students to working with fire, the fire triangle and the fire behavior triangle.

Objectives:

  • Introduce students to fire safety, the fire triangle, and the fire behavior triangle.
  • Students can identify the control and treatment variable, make a hypothesis, and collect observations on a controlled experiment to prove or disprove their hypotheses.
