Summary (Do Not Cite): Fecal pellet samples were analyzed by the Comp Analysis Lab at Ft. Collins, CO to assess food habits. Delta caribou averaged 59 ¦ 21% lichens and 23 ¦ 21 % moss in their fecal pellets. WACH (3 samples from Pah and Indian rivers) averaged 54, 59, and 74 % lichens and 3, 11, and 2 % mosses. Percentages of shubs and sedges used was higher than for other caribou herds.
