This, the second in a series of publications summarizing knowledge about the forest resources of southeast Alaska, deals with destructive forest insects. The report covers the impact of the major defoliators and bark beetles that affect trees in southeast Alaska. Suggested alternatives for pest management are offered as well as a discussion of future forest research needs.
