Description

The U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are working together to use prescribed fire in and around Mexican spotted owl protected activity centers (PACs). The ecosystem, and therefore the wildlife, are adapted to fire, and the risk of doing nothing is too great.
