Description

Describes a model for estimating moisture content of live herbs, shrubs, and grasses as part of the 1978 NFDRS. Weather parameters are used to calculate moisture content for annual or perennial herbaceous plants and leaves and twigs of small woody plants. Provides for adjusting moisture profiles by season and climate. Replaces methods described in the 1972 NFDRS.
