From the introduction ... 'What we need today is some good pine growth and yield data. We've had enough thinning studies'. So spoke one woodlands manager recently. As this bibliography will show, a great deal of data is available, much of which had its genesis in thinning studies. There are still some 'holes' in the data available, of course, as the reader will readily ascertain.'
