Description

Because of the high costs of gathering biomass data, illustration is made of diversities and similarities of data needs in forest related fieids to encourage broad application of study results. Methods of data collection, analysis and reporting of biomass production and removal are discussed. Examples of the degree of harvest removal are presented based on species or species groups, harvesting methods, and utilization standards.
