The Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Fire Science Consortium (TPOS) is one of fifteen regional consortia supported by the Joint Fire Science Program and is part of a national fire science knowledge exchange network. The Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Fire Science Consortium shaires fire science information in many ways including 1) hosting webinars, discussions, field trips to foster knowledge sharing; 2) useing existing fire-managed areas to explore both local and regional issues related to fire management and science; and 3) organizeing events for discussing research, experience, and information about fire.
