A report to NWCG based on a review of existing social science literature, an analysis of social science needs, and a needs assessment based on input from 11 workshops held around the country. The report offers a research agenda that describes what research is needed, why it is needed, and how the research can benefit land management agencies and the public. It also provides basic recommendations as to the actions needed to undertake and accomplish the research agenda.
