A Southern Fire Exchange webinar presented by Jim Cox, Stoddard Bird Lab Director with the Tall Timbers Research Station. This 1-hour webinar presentation explored four ways in which prescribed burners can influence bird habitat in the Southeastern US. Jim provided scientific evidence to demonstrate how decisions related to prescribed fire frequency, season, size, and ignition pattern can influence the quality of bird habitat in Southeastern US uplands.
