Description
The purpose of the Alaska Reference Database is to provide a comprehensive listing of fire research publications relevant to Alaska, and also to provide a venue for sharing unpublished agency reports and works in progress that are not normally found in the published literature. The database began as a cooperative effort between the USFS Pacific Wildland Fire Sciences Laboratory and the Alaska Fire Effects Task Group (a subcommittee of the Alaska Wildfire Coordinating Group Fire Research Development and Applications Committee). It is now maintained by the Alaska Fire Science Consortium (AFSC) and FRAMES. Funding for the database was originally provided by the Joint Fire Sciences Program.
