The student forest technicians will be responsible for conducting general forestry work at the University of Idaho Experimental Forest. All necessary training will be provided. Technicians will perform general forestry work including:

• Forest Inventory
• Pre-commercial thinning
• Forest stewardship
• Unit planning and layout
• Driving a University of Idaho vehicle
• Light equipment and vehicle maintenance
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Prescribed/wildland fire

Initial interviews will be conducted 2/14/2020-3/6/2020. Preference will be given to those who apply by February 29, 2020 and will continue until positions are filled.
