The Woods Hole Research Center seeks a Research Assistant to support several projects related to carbon cycling, landscape disturbances, and vegetation dynamics in the Arctic. The successful candidate will use remote sensing, geospatial data, and modeling techniques to investigate ongoing changes in the Arctic, including gas emission craters in the Siberian Arctic, changing fluxes of CO2, and boreal forest demographics and disturbances. This position requires expertise in advanced statistical techniques and working with geospatial data. Previous experience working in the Arctic is highly preferred.
