DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The mission of this position is to work with private landowners and cooperating agencies in Warren County to enhance forest land productivity and usefulness through technical forestry assistance and support of programs and projects directed toward the mission; and second, to support other Bureau of Forestry programs and activities in the Forest District as requested and required. Duties include assisting in fire protection activities; responding to requests regarding insect and disease problems; administering timber sales; and providing assistance with urban and community forestry management.
