The Fire Adapted Communities Coalition is a group of partners committed to helping people and communities in the wildland urban interface adapt to living with wildfire and reduce their risk for damage, without compromising firefighter or civilian safety. The coalition provides information, and expertise on the development of this website and other activities related to Fire Adapted Communities.

Members include: USDA Forest Service, US Department of the Interior, Insurance Institute for Home and Safety, International Association of Fire Chiefs, National Association of State Foresters, National Fire Protection Association, Firewise, The Nature Conservancy Fire Learning Network, US Fire Administration, and the National Wildfire Coordinating Working group - Wildland Urban Interface Mitigation Committee.
