A joint meeting of the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) Health & Well-being and Atmosphere Collaboration Teams. Speakers will highlight existing wildfire forecasting tools, especially resources that can be used by communities to aid in preparedness efforts. Speakers will discuss existing tools and provide examples of their use in communities or their potential applications if not currently used at the community-level. Ultimately, the use of available forecasting tools may help communities better respond to the threat of wildfires and avoid or minimize potential health impacts.
