A 4-day PC HYSPLIT workshop will be given June 12 - 15, 2018, in College Park, Maryland. The workshop will be focused on the use of the most recent version of the model on the PC/Mac and its Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The first day will be geared for those who have never installed or used the PC/Mac version of HYSPLIT. Although encouraged to install the model prior to attending, brief instructions will be given on how to install the latest version of PC/Mac HYSPLIT. An overview of the model GUI, meteorological display programs, and an extensive hands-on training on how to solve atmospheric dispersion problems will be presented. In the subsequent days several real world examples of increasing complexity will be explored.
Space is limited and advance registration is required. Registration is currently open and there are a few more open slots available. There is no charge for the workshop, however participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and arrangements including transportation to and from the workshop. This year we will again be offering a "Go To Meeting" session for a limited number of attendees (groups will be given priority).
